Lauren Daigle sang a jazzy rendition of 'America the Beautiful’ at Super Bowl.
Lauren Daigle stepped onto the Caesars Superdome field at Sunday’s Super Bowl in New Orleans to sing “America the Beautiful.” The former Louisiana State University student, perform alongside fellow Louisianian Trombone Shorty(aka Troy Andrews) Songs including “Trust in You” and “Hold on to Me” are staples of Christian radio, and claims four Top 40 albums with her highest-charting LP being 2018’s “Look Up Child.” Her most recent, full-length and original album is a self-titled set released in 2023 that included the chart-topping song, “Thank God I Do.” But in recent months, Daigle has also shared a live album called “Sessions” comprised of recordings captured at SiriusXM.
