Laura Whitmore suffers another career blow as her ITV show is cancelled after one series - days after she pulled out of Celebrity Apprentice special


Laura Whitmore Investigates has reportedly been cancelled after just one series.

She left the casting team in the lurch after backing out of the show's lineup, which includes the likes of Big Brother host AJ Odudu, EastEnders star Jake Wood, and JLS singer JB Gill. Lord Sugar's spin-off is to celebrate 20 years of The Apprentice as a host of famous faces take on the challenge of impressing the business mogul for charity Other names taking part in the one-off special are TV's Rob Rinder, actress Sarah Hadland, and ex-Apprentice candidate Tom Skinner, who competed for Lord Sugar's £250,000 investment in 2019.
