Laura Dern says she runs 'everything' by her good pal Reese Witherspoon before making a decision
When Laura Dern needs advice she knows exactly who to call - her longtime bestie, Reese Witherspoon.
The conversation turned that way after the panel guests — which included Witherspoon, 48, and Octavia Spencer, 54 — were asked about (female) networks the Jurassic Park star has cultivated through her long career. Dern cited her mother Diane Ladd, 88, and Jane Fonda, 86, as mentors who helped her understand the important of strong networks, calling them 'women who decided they had to be the storytellers to be in the story at all' The show is a fan favorite, but the problem seems to be finding a time when all the main cast members which include Nicole Kidman, Zoe Kravitz and Shailene Woodley are available.
