Laura Dave & ‘Maestro’s Josh Singer Adapting Dave’s Forthcoming Mystery Novel ‘The Night We Lost Him’ For Netflix

Mystery novel 'The Night We Lost Him' is being adapted for Netflix by author Laura Dave and 'Maestro's Josh Singer ahead of its release.

The pair comes to the project following their collaboration on The Last Thing He Told Me, Apple TV+’s hit limited series adaptation of Dave’s same-name novel, starring Jennifer Garner, which they co-developed and executive produced. Dave’s best-known work, mystery thriller The Last Thing He Told Me, spent over 80 weeks on the New York Times Best Seller List and has sold over three million copies to date. Most recently, Singer teamed with Bradley Cooper to co-write and executive produce his Leonard Bernstein drama Maestro for Netflix, which is up for seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay.
