Laura Byrne and Matty J Johnson splash out $2million on rundown house in huge renovation project as they expand property portfolio
The Bachelor power couple have expanded their mutli-million property portfolio by purchasing the property in Ulladulla, about 230 kilometres south of Sydney .
The dilapidated home holds special meaning for the couple as it is down the road from Cupitts Estate winery, where Laura and Matt tied the knot in November 2022. The historic residence previously belonged to a United Nations translator, who died in 2021, and Laura and Matt paid $2.19million for the pad, according to the Daily Telegraph. The couple plan to completely overhaul the 'old beauty' to its previous standard and confirmed the exciting news in a post shared to Instagram this week.
