There was much concern within the late-night community that there would only be three nominations for the Outstanding Talk Series category. This means that the category has only lost one nomination slot from last year, as opposed to two, which was the worry before voting opened. Submissions were Black Girl Stuff, The Conversations Project, The Daily Show, Hart to Heart, Hot Ones, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s In LA, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Pit Stop with Trixie Mattel, Real Time with Bill Maher, Tez on Ten, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
