John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s In LA had been touted as a possible new entry into the main late-night talk category but couldn’t unseat Meyers, Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel or The Daily Show, which won last year and is now hosted, in part, by Jon Stewart. In addition to Outstanding Scripted Variety Series, where it will go head-to-head with Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, it by a trio of guest stars including Ryan Gosling, who went viral with the Beavis and Butthead sketch, and former SNLers Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig, who returned to host. Corrections is once again up against James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke, which won in 2021 and 2022 but was beaten by I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson last year, as well as The Eric Andre Show, Real Time with Bill Maher: Overtime and Only Murders In The Building: One Killer Question.
