Late Late Toy Show star Saoirse Ruane passes away aged 12 after rare cancer battle
Saoirse Ruane, who won the hearts of the nation with her appearance on RTE's Late Late Toy Show in 2020, has passed away at the age of 12 after battling cancer for four years
The funeral arrangements, as reported by the Irish Mirror, for Saoirse have been shared and her service will be held on Sunday, 10 March at St Peter and Paul's Church, Kiltullagh. The star talked openly about her battle with cancer after losing her right legFormer Late Late Show host Ryan Tubridy- who now presents a show on Virgin Radio - has paid tribute to Saoirse and said: “It is with the great sadness imaginable that I’ve heard the news of my dear young friend, Saoirse Ruane’s passing. She told her story, the nation fell in love with her and a charity began because of her and with that she helped enrich and encourage the live of thousands of children in Ireland.
