Late 'Glee' star Naya Rivera's ex husband Ryan Dorsey speaks out about her death and raising their son Josey: 'I’m grateful that he has memories of his mom still'

Ryan Dorsey, ex-husband of "Glee" star Naya Rivera is opening up about Rivera's death and raising their son Josey.

"It was very surreal, it didn’t make sense," Dorsey told "Good Morning America," recounting July 8, 2020, when he received a call that his ex-wife went missing in Southern California’s Lake Piru while their son Josey, then 4, was on the boat. After Rivera failed to return the boat, personnel on the dock discovered the child, wearing a life jacket, asleep in the vessel, officials said. Dorsey recently remembered Rivera on her birthday on Jan. 12, sharing a poem he wrote to his ex-wife and mother of his child.
