Larry Birkhead and His Teenage Daughter Dannielynn Attend the 2025 Kentucky Derby: ‘Betting on a Great Time’

Larry Birkhead and his daughter Dannielynn Birkhead attended the 2025 Kentucky Derby together on May 3. Dannielynn, 18, honored her late mom Anna Nicole Smith by wearing some of her jewelry for the occasion.

On Saturday, the proud father shared two photos of their Kentucky Derby outfits, partly captioning his post with, “Betting on a great time and good weather for a special family tradition.” Larry welcomed his daughter with Smith — who died from an accidental drug overdose in 2007, just five months after Dannielynn was born. Admitting that she "needs a little help," Larry then said that he told his daughter "when she can pass a quiz at home, then I would take her to get driver's lessons because it makes me too nervous."
