Laraine Newman tells PEOPLE she 'was worried' for her daughter Hannah Einbinder, whom she shares with husband Chris Einbinder, to star in 'Hacks.' 'As a mother, I was worried, but I didn’t need to be,' she shares.
While chatting with PEOPLE on Friday, Sept. 27, the Saturday Night Live alum, 72, revealed that she was initially quite worried about her daughter, 29, staring in Hacks, which she has since received three Primetime Emmy Awards nominations and two Golden Globe Awards nominations for. Asked about how it feels to watch Einbinder act in such a successful series, the proud mom tells PEOPLE, "It’s thrilling! Newman then recalled a small moment from Einbinder's childhood that made her realize her daughter's writing talent.
