Laraine Newman Praises Daughter Hannah Einbinder’s ‘Hacks’ Success

Laraine Newman exclusively told Us Weekly about how ‘proud’ she is of her daughter, Hannah Einbinder’s success in HBO’s ‘Hacks’

In the show, Einbinder plays Ava Daniels, a young comedy writer who’s partnered to veteran comic Deborah Vance ( Jean Smart). In September, she took to social media to share her dismay after The Bear star Liza Colón-Zayas won an Emmy in the category of best supporting actress in a comedy series over her daughter who was also nominated. She further explained that she doesn’t know if she’ll ever share the screen with her daughter someday, before telling Us, “I haven’t really thought about it.” For now, she’s just like any proud mom, cheering on Hannah from the sidelines.
