Lando Norris Credits PlayStation With Helping Him ‘Be a Better Driver’
The McLaren F1 star is the latest PlayStation Playmaker, appearing in a video that credits the gaming console with introducing him to racing.
The F1 star unveiled the partnership in a new video posted to social media this week, noting that PlayStation has been “a part of my life for as long as I can remember.” First unveiled last fall, the group includes other athletes like LeBron James, BMX biker Nigel Sylvester, Belgian soccer player Romelu Lukaku and NFL stars Ja’Marr Chase and CeeDee Lamb. While exact details of Norris’ participation have yet to be announced, Sony says the Playmakers will work with the brand to “provide early looks and behind-the-scenes access, and offer unique experiences for fans.”
