Fans of Taylor Sheridan's Landman have discovered something about leading lady Ali Larter.
'I just realized the woman playing Billy Bob Thornton's ex-wife on Landman is the girl that wore the whipped cream bikini in Varsity Blues,' wrote another. He survives the intense exchange and continues to work under businessman Monty Miller (Jon Hamm) while balancing relationships with ex-wife Angela (Larter) and children Ainsley (Michelle Randolph) and oil field worker Cooper (Jacob Lofland). Landman, like Yellowstone, is set in the present day and is inspired by the popular podcast Boomtown, which chronicled a 21st century oil boom in western Texas.
