Lance Bass Says His CW Pilot Was Cancelled After He Came Out


Lance Bass said that his CW pilot was cancelled after he came out in 2006 during the December 5 episode of the 'Politickin'' podcast

“It was a crazy scary situation because all the examples I’ve ever had of anyone coming out, especially in entertainment, was that it’s a career killer,” Bass revealed during the Tuesday, December 3, episode of the “ Politickin ‘” podcast. The former ‘NSync singer, 45, said on the Wednesday, September 25, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that he once overheard Diddy, 54, tell his bandmate Justin Timberlake to leave the group during their final tour. In addition to his early 2000s roles, Bass has also appeared in numerous TV shows and movies, including Cursed, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, Valley Peaks, Drop Dead Diva, The Rookie and How I Met Your Father.
