Lana Del Rey to Receive 2024 Songwriter Icon Award at NMPA Annual Meeting
At the upcoming NMPA annual meeting, Lana Del Rey will receive the 2024 NMPA Songwriter Icon award.
The award will be presented at the organization’s annual meeting at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City on June 12. Her songwriting is deeply personal, and she continues to innovate – bringing fans thought provoking lyrics and indelible style.” The timeless ballad “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” co-written by Luigi Creatore, Hugo Peretti and George David Weiss, will be honored as an NMPA Iconic Song.
