The speculation began when a particular fan account asked whom the people wanted the pop queen to perform for, and the answers just kept rolling in with fierce and sometimes hilarious suggestions. Most of the recurrent suggestions were the big cities: São Paulo, Rio De Janeiro, and Belo Horizonte, with the giants all keen to have Gaga thunder the walls of Mineirão and Allianz Parque. Many Northeast-region fans were begging for a stop in either Fortaleza or Recife or else the spiraling cost of coming to Rio or São Paulo would be sorely painful.
