Lady Gaga Sings ‘Dick in a Box’ With Andy Samberg Before Wild Lonely Island Medley at ‘SNL50’ Concert

Lady Gaga opened with a cover of ‘Dick in a Box’ alongside Andy Samberg before the launch of a Lonely Island medley at the‘SNL 50’ concert.

Audiences at the “ SNL50: The Homecoming Concert” were perhaps expecting Lady Gaga to sing one of her new singles for the long-anticipated occasion, or the musical kick-off for the weekend that will finish with the 50th anniversary special airing on NBC on Sunday. The comedic single became a staple of “SNL” history thanks to The Lonely Island featuring Justin Timberlake — who wasn’t in attendance on Friday night. The star-studded “Homecoming Concert,” hosted by Jimmy Fallon, will also feature performances by Post Malone, Mumford & Sons, Jack White, David Byrne, Robyn, Eddie Vedder, DEVO, Brittany Howard, Chris Martin, Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, Jelly Roll, the B-52s, Preservation Hall Jazz Band and the Roots will also perform, alongside more recent additions Cher, Dave Grohl, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Snoop Dogg, St. Vincent and Wyclef Jean.
