Lady Gaga Shares Support For Trans Community At The Grammys: “Trans People Are Not Invisible”

Lady Gaga won at the 2025 Grammy Awards and took the opportunity to express her support for the LGBTQIA+ community.

The singer took the stage at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles alongside Bruno Mars after winning in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category for their song “Die with a Smile.” The order reinstates a policy from Trump’s first term that Joe Biden rescinded in 2021, which allowed trans people to enlist in the military and serve openly. In his first week as president, Trump also rolled back diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility initiatives, which gave marginalized groups opportunities that they wouldn’t otherwise.
