A visit to the 38-year-old pop star and actress’ official website reveals a series of floating black letters against an orange backdrop, which may be lyrics from her forthcoming album, Mayhem, set to drop on March 7. One reads, “Choke on the fame and hope it gets your high.” Another says, “I’m the perfect celebrity.” A third declares, “I’ll burn a hole right through your eyes,” and another states, “Tap on my vein suck on my blood diamond.” She described that the project “leaps around genre in a way that’s almost corrupt,” adding, “And it ends with love.” She noted, “That’s the answer to all the chaos in my life is that I find peace with love.
