Lady Gaga Reveals Why She Never Responded to Rumors She Was a Man: ‘I Didn’t Feel Like a Victim’

In a recent interview, Lady Gaga explained why she never felt the need to address the rumors that she was a man despite frequently being asked about them.

The Grammy winner did briefly address the rumor in a 2011 interview with Anderson Cooper, but instead of answering the question of whether or not she was a man, she used the opportunity to point out that it wouldn’t matter either way. Gaga also recently reacted to a Facebook group titled, “Stefani Germanotta, you will never be famous,” which was allegedly made by former classmates during her time at New York University. “Not pregnant — just down bad cryin’ at the gym,” Gaga wrote over a close-up video of her face, referencing Taylor Swift ’s song “Down Bad.” She also directed her followers to a link to register to vote.
