Following Lady Gaga’s biggest show of her career, drawing an estimated 2.5 million people to Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, police in Brazil said they worked with the Justice Ministry on an operation to stop an alleged attack planned by a group that was spreading hate speech against the LGBTQ community. “Nothing could prepare me for the feeling I had during last night’s show — the absolute pride and joy I felt singing for the people of Brazil,” she wrote in part.
