It was confirmed on Thursday that Nosferatu director Robert Eggers has closed a deal to write and direct a new movie, said to be a follow up to the original 1986 film. Although plot details for Eggers' project remain under wraps for now, it's been revealed that he is writing the script with Sjón, his collaborator on 2022 Viking actioner The Northman. The film starred a young Jennifer Connelly who played Sarah, a teen who, after being forced to babysit, wished her baby brother away – and the besotted Goblin King Jareth (Bowie) was all too happy to oblige.
