LA Phil Announces ’25-’26 Disney Hall Schedule: Dudamel’s 14-Program Final Season, Plus Concerts From Itzhak Perlman, Patti Smith, Ledisi, Nicole Scherzinger and More
The LA Phil announced the full 2025-26 season for Walt Disney Hall, including the final season there for Dudamel with the Phil and many other shows.
He will conduct the house orchestra in 14 different programs from September of this year through June 2026, “including world premieres, explorations of some of the most monumental works in the symphonic repertoire, new additions to Dudamel’s innovative Pan-American Music Initiative and collaborations with outstanding guest artists such as Yo-Yo Ma and Yunchan Lim,” the org said. Beyond the symphonic realm, concerts are set for artists including recent Super Bowl singer Ledisi (Oct. 3), classic rocker Boz Scaggs (Oct. 25), Nicole Scherzinger, currently knocking them dead on Broadway in “Sunset Blvd.” (Oct. 30), a holiday show by Arturo Sandoval (Dec. 23), and, in 2026, Seth MacFarlane doing a salute to Frank Sinatra (Feb. 17) and the return of jazz legend Herbie Hancock (April 14). Other highlights on the schedule include concerts by RX Y (Sept. 29), Brazilian jazz pianist Ivan Lins (Oct. 17), Latin Grammy winners Los Fabulosos Cadillacs (Oct. 18), indie-folk artist Faye Webster playing with orchestral accompaniment (Nov. 1), Melissa Peterman leading the annual holiday sing-along (Dec. 13) and genre-crossing Ichiko Aoba(April 24, 2026).
