Better used to catching forwards offside, Walker found himself caught short after leaving a busy cocktail bar with two friends.

And he appeared to be in good company, with a friend following suit as they left the Dear Sailor bar shortly after 11:30pm, hours after Manchester City's 1-1 draw with Premier League rivals Newcastle United at St. James' Park. The incident happened in April 2022 outside The Bridge in Prestbury, Cheshire - approximately 24 hours after his side lost in the FA Cup semi-final to Liverpool at Wembley Stadium. This summer a court heard that the situation was a 'source of disappointment, anguish and anger' for Goodman, who threatened to move near his family's Cheshire pile – in breach of the order – and made enquiries with nearby estate agents.
