Kyle Sandilands reveals his rocky start on Australian Idol and admits Maria Hines didn't like him - as he welcomes ex-rival back onto the show
He's set to return to the judging panel of Australian Idol for his ninth season.
But radio titan Kyle Sandilands has revealed he initially felt like a fish out of water when he first joined the reality show back in 2005. His relationship with Marcia has completely changed since their earlier days, with the 70-year-old music veteren even returning to the rebooted franchise this season as a judge. 'We couldn't get her on that first [rebooted] season because she had like 9000 different RSLs that she was touring around — the woman never stops,' Kyle said of Marcia, who will replace both outgoing judges Meghan Trainor and Harry Connick Jr.
