Kyle Sandilands has been left red-faced after paying an emotional tribute to late Hey Hey It's Saturday star John Blackman - only to be told the comedian was not a fan.
The radio king, 52, told his KIIS FM co-host Jackie 'O' Henderson , 49, on Thursday that John Blackman (pictured) was a 'hero of mine' - only for a staffer to interrupt that the feeling was not mutual The legendary broadcaster had a hugely successful radio career spanning around 50 years, but was best known for his character voices on the long-running variety TV show. In 2022, Blackman faced a second battle when he was diagnosed with brain cancer, which was removed with a six-hour operation that left a titanium mesh plate in his head.
