MacLachlan transforms several times over — donning a Santa suit, bald cap and several wigs — for the video, which specifically highlights Lyft Silver. (Launched in May, the service simplifies the rideshare experience for older adults with a user-friendly interface, live phone support and vehicles that are easier to enter.) When the actor isn't traveling for premieres, film festivals and Twin Peaks screenings — which is exactly what he's up to this Father's Day — this "is kind of our routine,” he tells PEOPLE, “is we spend a lot of time together, which is really special and difficult in a way, when you think that that part is gonna change.”
