Meredith Hagner is scoring rave reviews for her performance on the Apple TV+ series Bad Monkey, but a source exclusively tells Closer she’s having a hard time getting the approval of a select few — particularly in-laws Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn. However, it’s been a “long journey to get to this point,” the source reveals, adding that Meredith’s “obvious similarities” to Goldie and sister-in-law Kate Hudson haven’t made things any easier. “[Meredith] is having a nice run on Bad Monkey, and Kurt and Goldie have evolved into genuine fans of her as an artist, but there’s always been this ‘home wrecker’ label hanging over her head because she and Wyatt met on the set of a movie while he was still married to Sanne,” the source shares.
