Gordon have launched Winter Coat Films, which has signed a first-look deal with Sony Pictures Television to produce scripted series for streaming and cable platforms. “Kumail and Emily are a dream team – artists who bring humanity, humor and authenticity to everything they explore,” said Katherine Pope, President Sony Pictures Television Studios. Most recently, Melia ran Local Time alongside Lulu Wang, where she executive produced the Prime Video series Expats, starring Nicole Kidman.
