Kristin Cavallari exclusively tells PEOPLE about her decision to cut her father, Dennis Cavallari, out of her life during a conversation about her new reality show, 'Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour.'

Though she declined to go into further detail about what happened between her father and her children, Cavallari says she's "happy" with the choice she made regarding her dad, and it "was something that I had been wanting to do for a long time." In December, during an appearance on Bunnie Xo's Dumb Blonde podcast, Cavallari explained that her "dad is a narcissist. Now, Cavallari says she's grown more in the last five years than she ever has before, and she credits both standing up to her father and navigating her divorce for making her stronger.
