Kristen Wiig Says There's 'Never Been a Conversation' About a Bridesmaids Sequel: 'That Story Had an End'


Kristen Wiig, who wrote and starred in 2011's 'Bridesmaids,' said there has 'never been a conversation' about doing a sequel. The comedy also starred Maya Rudolph, Melissa McCarthy, Rose Byrne and more.

“That story had an end, and it’s so beloved to me for 10 million reasons, and I think it’s okay to just have it exist in the world as it is,” the Saturday Night Live alum said of Bridesmaids. Wiig co-wrote the film’s screenplay and starred as Annie Walker, who becomes the maid of honor to her best friend Lillian (Maya Rudolph).
