Kristen Stewart, Alia Shawkat To Topline Dylan Meyer’s ‘The Wrong Girls’ For Neon; Seth Rogen, Kumail Nanjiani, LaKeith Stanfield Among Others Set

Kristen Stewart and Alia Shawkat are set to topline 'The Wrong Girls,' a new Neon film marking the directorial debut of Dylan Meyer.

The Wrong Girls marks Neon’s third film with Stewart following Pablo Larraín’s Spencer, which brought the actress her first Oscar nomination for her turn as Princess Diana, as well as David Cronenberg’s Cannes selection Crimes of the Future. She’s wrapped production on her feature directorial debut, The Chronology of Water, and will also soon be seen starring in Panos Cosmatos’ vampire pic Flesh of the Gods opposite Oscar Isaac, as well as Amazon MGM’s limited series The Challenger on astronaut Sally Ride. The company also released Mohammad Rasoulof’s The Seed of the Sacred Fig, which is up for Best International Feature, and this weekend unveils The Monkey, filmmaker Osgood Perkins’ anticipated follow-up to Longlegs.
