Kris Bowers, Camille, Clement Ducol and Paul Tazewell are among Variety's Artisans Awards 2025 recipients at the Santa Barbara Film Festival.
In a statement, the festival’s creative director Roger Durling said, “As the tragic events in our sister city of Los Angeles were unfolding, we debated about moving forward with SBIFF. Durling said, “This event highlights the fact that film, at its heart, is one of the most collaborative of the arts — and these extraordinary artists being celebrated are the cream of the crop of this past year in cinema.
