Kodak Black Attends White House’s Black History Month Event

Kodak Black attended a Black History Month reception at the White House on Thursday (Feb. 20).

Fellow rappers Boosie Badazz and Rod Wave were also invited, a White House official told the Associated Press on the condition of anonymity. “Today, we pay tribute to the generations of Black legends, champions, warriors and patriots who helped drive our country forward to greatness. Black was less than halfway through with his 46-month prison sentence at the time, having pled guilty to a firearms possession charge after being detained at the Canadian-American border in March 2020.
