KMR Talent Grappling With “Talent Payment Breakdown,” Owner Mark Measures Says Amid Questions About Agency’s Future
Agency KMR Talent is contending with a "talent payment breakdown," owner and President Mark Measures told Deadline on Friday.
The revelation come following outreach to Deadline on the part of multiple talent reps, who say money owed to clients is now more than a month late. While still one of the industry’s smaller agencies, KMR expanded over the years into new areas of representation, including Film, TV, Theatre, Sports and Dance, with Measures joining as partner and President in 2013. With offices in Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta, KMR Talent’s notable clients include Academy Award winner J.K. Simmons ( Whiplash), who is repped for voice-over and commercials, as well as actress and comedian Lauren Weedman ( Horse Girl, Date Night), Ghosts star Sheila Carrasco, Karen Allen ( Indiana Jones franchise, The Sandlot), and Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated Weeds star Elizabeth Perkins.
