KitchenAid has announced its color of the year as Blue Salt, an iridescent periwinkle blue, and it's magical.

The iconic KitchenAid Stand Mixer stepped onto the scene more than a century and has since been coveted by home cooks and professional bakers alike. Inspired by the way a pinch of salt can open your senses to new depths of flavor, it's an "ever-shifting hue that reflects the versatility that the kitchen plays in our lives," said KitchenAid in its press release.
