Kirsty Wark To Receive BAFTA Fellowship: Broadcaster & Journalist Will Be Awarded The British Academy’s Top Honor


'Newsnight' icon Kirsty Wark to receive BAFTA’s highest honor at its 2025 Television Awards.

Notable interviews in the cultural space include with Madonna, Harold Pinter, Pete Doherty, Damien Hirst and George Clooney. “Television has been my home for forty years, both at the BBC and in independent production, and I continue to learn every day from people with awe-inspiring skills who have become treasured colleagues and dear friends. The Fellowship will be presented to Wark during the 2025 BAFTA Television Awards on Sunday 11 May at London’s Royal Festival Hall, with this year’s ceremony being hosted by Alan Cumming.
