Kiran Deol Sets Debut Comedy Special ‘JoySuck’
Kiran Deol's debut comedy special 'JoySuck' is set to premiere via Comedy Dynamics on April 8, Deadline has learned.
An actress and a filmmaker, as well as a comedian, Deol was most recently seen leading the zombie flick Didn’t Die, directed by Meera Menon, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. She’s also previously been seen in NBC’s Sunnyside, as well as the cult horror comedy Destroy All Neighbors opposite Alex Winter and Jonah Ray Rodriguez, and will be seen coming up in Disney’s Freakier Friday. The co-host of Crooked Media’s Hysteria podcast, Deol garnered a News & Documentary Emmy nomination and an IDA Award for her short doc Woman Rebel examining the Nepalese Civil War.
