King Charles' sad reason for sharing shock cancer diagnosis as he begins treatment immediately
King Charles has been diagnosed with cancer and has already begun treatment, Buckingham Palace has confirmed on Monday 5 February
In the statement, King Charles explained he chose to share his diagnosis as he wanted to prevent speculation over his health as he steps down from many of his royal duties. The statement read: "During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. "His Majesty has chosen to share his diagnosis to prevent speculation and in the hope it may assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer."
