King Charles will 'sit apart' from Royal Family at Easter service in bid to protect his health
King Charles is set to lead the Royal Family at the Easter Sunday service at St George's Chapel in Windsor, in what will be his first public appearance since his cancer diagnosis
This will be the 75 year old monarch's first public engagement since he was diagnosed with cancer, after it was reported that he is very keen to get back to work and make appearances at key royal events in the summer. On Friday, Good Morning Britain hosts Kate Garraway and Rob Rinder were joined by Newsweek Chief Royal Correspondent Jack Royston. The King's message, recorded in mid-March, included a Bible reading and a call that as a nation: "We need and benefit greatly from those who extend the hand of friendship to us, especially in a time of need."
