King Charles told 'I've got your back' by Hollywood A-lister after career decision


The Oscar-winning actress has taken on a role at one of the monarch's charities, joining the ranks of other big celebrities who've taken up the mantle, including Sir Rod Stewart and David Beckham

Kate Winslet, the Oscar-winning 'The Reader' actress best known for her starring role alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in 1997's Titanic, recently took on the position for The King's Foundation. The Mare of Easttown actress has now joined the ranks of other big celebrities who've taken up the ambassador mantle, including names like Sir Rod Stewart, Penny Lancaster, David Beckham and Sienna Miller. It's believed that the Duke of Sussex, who lives in California, will extend an olive branch to his father, with reports indicating that he intends to send him both an electronic and formal invitation to the huge event.
