King Charles stopped from fulfilling lifelong aspiration after 'doctor's orders'

King Charles has been travelling to Commonwealth countries and on the final night in Samoa he spoke of his affection for the family of nations and called it a 'source of hope'

The King dressed in a Red Sea rig shirt featuring designs from the Samoan School of Fine Art, while the Queen looked elegant in an embroidered blue tunic and palazzo trousers by Anna Valentine, complemented with diamond earrings. He added, "The sheer scale and diversity of Commonwealth membership, spanning the entire globe and embracing more than one-third of the human race, gives us the understanding, the credibility and indeed the clout to play a full role in promoting and protecting peace and prosperity." The Commonwealth held a deeply special place in Queen Elizabeth II’s heart and was a key feature of her 1947 broadcast from South Africa when she declared to dedicate her life to service.
