King Charles set for a 'different' Christmas as he tackles 'road to recovery'

King Charles will be looking for a "different" and "more normal" festive season this year after a tough year for his health, according to the former butler to the monarch

And Grant Harrold, who served as the king's butler from 2004 to 2011, predicts that after a tension-filled end to 2023, the royals are aiming for a return to "normal" festive celebrations for 2024. With Catherine gradually easing back into public life and sharing three kids with Prince William, Grant believes Charles will aim for minimal stress during the holidays for her. A grand gathering of royals is expected at King Charles and Queen Camilla's Sandringham estate on Christmas Day, with the Prince of Wales recently sharing that 45 family members will be "all in one room".
