King Charles Is ‘Delighted’ Kate Middleton Will Attend Trooping the Colour
King Charles is happy that his daughter-in-law Princess Kate Middleton will be in attendance at Trooping the Color amid her cancer treatment
Max Mumby/Indigo/Getty Images (2)“His Majesty is delighted that The Princess is able to attend tomorrow’s events, and is much looking forward to all elements of the day,” a Buckingham Palace spokesperson said in a statement on Friday, June 14. “I’m looking forward to attending The King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hope to join a few public engagements over the summer, but equally knowing I am not out of the woods yet,” Kate said in a statement alongside a new photo of herself. Buckingham Palace announced in February 2024 that King Charles III received a cancer diagnosis one week after he was admitted to The London Clinic to undergo treatment for an enlarged prostate.
