King Charles III Resumes Royal Duties as Cancer Treatments Continue
King Charles III has resumed his royal duties by meeting with Britain’s Chancellor of the Exchequer Jeremy Hunt amid is cancer treatments
“As all those who have been affected by cancer will know, such kind thoughts are the greatest comfort and encouragement,” the king wrote, in part, for a separate statement released by Buckingham Palace on February 10. “It is equally heartening to hear how sharing my own diagnosis has helped promote public understanding and shine a light on the work of all those organizations which support cancer patients and their families across the U.K. and wider world.” Charles has since been photographed at Buckingham Palace reading get well soon cards on February 24 while sitting and smiling alongside his iconic red briefcase, which is used for official royal business.
