King Charles III Invites Trump to U.K. for ‘Unprecedented’ State Visit
King Charles III has invited President Donald Trump for an informal visit to the U.K. as well as an official state visit
“Quite apart from this presenting an opportunity to discuss a wide range of issues of mutual interest, it would also offer a valuable chance to plan a historic second state visit to the United Kingdom. Charles, 76, and Camilla, 77, helped package donation food boxes at Darjeeling Express, an Indian restaurant in the U.K.’s capital, in celebration of Ramadan, the Muslim Holy month. During the trip, the president and First Lady Melania Trump spent time at Buckingham Palace and enjoyed a state banquet with Elizabeth II, Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.
