King Charles gives Prince Andrew two choices in bid to end wrangle over Royal Lodge

Prince Andrew is said to be 'in the dog house' with his brother King Charles and has been given an ultimatum to solve the row over his living arrangements in Windsor

The King's patience is wearing thin over Andrew's choice to remain at the property, and he's keen on relocating him to Frogmore Cottage, previously occupied by Prince Harry. His police protection was withdrawn following a Home Office review, and now a private security team, costing around £3 million annually, safeguards him, funded by the King's personal fortune. The current contract, which includes a ten-person security detail for the Duke at Royal Lodge, is due to expire this autumn and is not expected to be renewed, with no new team apparently in the pipeline.
