King Charles gives candid cancer update in rare admission about treatment
King Charles was visiting Bradford when he gave a rare update on his cancer treatment, revealing he would like to think he is on the "better side" of his journey
During his visit to Impact Hub Yorkshire, where he met with local entrepreneurs fostering community diversity, florist Safeena Khan had the opportunity to speak with Charles and present him with a bouquet reminiscent of the gardens at Highgrove House. Continuing his treatment as an outpatient at the London Clinic, the King conveyed a positive gesture to the Bradford florist, giving her a "thumbs up" when she inquired about his wellbeing, and shared with her: "I'd like to think I'm on the better side (of my cancer journey)", reports the Mirror. Charles is set to jet off to Canada for the grand opening of the Commonwealth nation's parliament at the end of May, and following a bustling summer schedule, he will play host to a state visit from France's President Emmanuel Macron during a time when the Royal calendar typically begins to slow down.
