King Charles Diagnosed With Cancer
King Charles III has been diagnosed with cancer, Buckingham Palace confirmed on Monday.
In a statement, the Palace said that “a separate issue of concern” had been noted during the King’s recent procedure for a benign prostate enlargement. The statement concluded, “His Majesty has chosen to share his diagnosis to prevent speculation and in the hope it may assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer.” Charles III was hospitalized for his prostate procedure at the same time as his daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton, underwent abdominal surgery due to an undisclosed medical condition.
